Terms & Conditions


These terms and conditions to all our classes, workshops and holiday camps.

1.Fees

All classes will be charged whether or not your child attends. Payments for weekly classes should be made in blocks at the time of booking. Your childs space is only secure in our classes when payment has been made. You will be sent an email when your block is coming to an end to. Please ensure you book your child into the next block to secure a space. Please note that booking a trial does not automatically admit you into the block booking. If your child attends a trial, they will only be able to attend the classes if there is space. We will operate a wait list for when classes are full.

2.Membership

Please note that booking your child into our weekly classes does not guarantee them a place in our Theatre Group for our annual productions. Our Theatre group operates on a waiting list and is available for children age 8-18 years. Should you wish to join our waiting list for our theatre group, please contact our administration on info@risingyoungstars.co.uk.

3.Permission for the Use of Photographs and Recorded Images

a) While booking, you will be asked to give permission to use images of the participants of Rising Youngstars for promotional purposes. These may be used in publications, for training and archive purposes, online and digital media.

b) A headshot will be taken of every child attending Rising Youngstars for internal use. These will be deleted 3 months after last attendance. Should you wish for a headshot not to be taken, please opt out of this at the time of booking.

c) Rising Youngstars recognises the need to ensure the welfare and safety of all our participants involved in it's activities. As part of the commitment to ensure it's safety of participants, we will not permit photographs, video or other images of participants to be taken or used without consent of the parents/guardians (where applicable) and the participant.

d) Please note that participants and audiences will not be allowed to take photographs and/or videos during performances. Photographs will be taken by the leaders of the group.

e) If at any time either the parent/guardian or the participant wishes the data to be removed from the website or from a publication, notice must be given to Rising Youngstars in writing, after which the data will be removed within the appropriate timescale.

4.All Rising Youngstars activities and classes are intended to be productive and enjoyable for everyone attending. In order to ensure that all attending have an opportunity to participate fully, please observe the following guidelines: Participants should -

a) Arrive and be collected on time.

b) Be appropriately dressed wearing suitable clothing and footwear. When participating in RY's events, a black Rising Youngstars t-shirt and black trousers should be worn.

c) Be courteous and polite to all

d) Always behave sensibly and responsibly and be aware of their safety and the safety of others.

e) Rising Youngstars will not tolerate bullying or any other form of abuse. We therefor reserve the right to remove/bar participants on the grounds of disruptive behaviour.

6.Medical Conditions and Additional Support

a) Rising Youngstars welcome participants with medical conditions, disabilities and/or additional support needs. In order that we can create a positive, fun, safe and educational experience for all participants, it is important that we are fully aware of any medical condition, disability and/or special needs that participants may have.

b) It is important to stress that any information provided by you will be treated in the strictest confidence. Participants will not be screened for any physical or learning ability.

c) Please provide complete and accurate information. This information will only be used for the benefit of the participant to create a positive and enjoyable experience while being a participant in Rising Youngstars.
